Gluteal Draping -- How to Get Over Yourself Real Fast

Ahhh, there is nothing quite like learning to get over your body image issues like having one of your classmates massage your BUTT (opps, sorry, BUTTOCKS).

You can't say the following terms in our school:
  • butt
  • panties
  • underwear
  • flip
  • shimmy
  • scooch

Everyone gets to see your gluteals. Not just your partner massaging you, but all the people at the massage tables around you, plus the instructors.

IF you do not think people are looking, then you are in
                                        DENIAL

It's a real test. You can't hide behind clothes anymore, because you don't have any ON!!

Your private areas are now public arena

Oh yes indeed, and it gets worse as your instructors saunter by to have a discussion with your massage partner about how to best massage your gluteals.  As if it wasn't horrifying enough.

If you have any issues with being partially nude in front of others, this is a quick wake up call. It was a healing for me. It's great to feel exposed. It's great to feel like I can't hide behind anything anymore. Nudity is a great teacher, and healer.

That's how we compensate/cope isn't it? By hiding behind something, figuratively or literally. Clothes are the most basic form of it. Many pick out clothes to purposefully conceal all their "flaws" because they do not want the whole world to see what they feel most ashamed of.   ...........  their body.

GASP!! People feel ashamed of their body? Well I'll be dammed.

The whole weight loss industry preys on people's SHAME. That is why many people will pay the big bucks.................. to escape feelings of chronic shame.

I can totally understand.  In order to find a mate, women and men, intuitively know that they have to look good, or they won't attract a partner.

One way to accept yourself just as you are can be to expose yourself, and let people have a GOOD LOOK!! And allow them to think what they will. People are either going to like what they see or don't. If you were a model, people will either like what they see, or they won't. Can't please everyone, so why try?
