Is Surgery the Best Option?
This post is to help people decide if surgery is the best option for them. I have had several people come into my clinic for the very purpose of "avoiding surgery". Hello Doctor, I have "XYZ" issue and my medical doctor says I need surgery, I want to avoid all that nonsense in the hope that you can prevent this.
Ok, so if you are one such person that the doctor says you need surgery and this does not seem appealing to you, then I am going to help you decide what to do, from a homeopath's perspective.
Answer thr following questions.
1.) Does this medical issue need to be resolved within a certain time frame? Let's say you want to get pregnant but can't because you have uterine fibroids, and you aren't geting any younger and your biological clock is ticking. OR you are a professional athlete that is under contract and you need to get back into the game, or you are going to be off work for too long, and you might get fired, or your vacation time will run out. You get my point.
If the answer is yes, then you may want to consider surgery. If you are at the point where you need surgery then your condition is already chronic and advanced and healing is going to take a long time with consistent dedication and perserverance to do it NATURALLY. You more than likely will not get the results you want within your required time frame.
2.) Is it a growth or a functional disorder? Growths take longer to get rid of, because they tend to grow quickly and dissolve slowly.
Even a slight fluctuation in your hormone levels can cause your growths to enlarge and multiply. Functional disorders are when an organ, gland, or system isn't working properly, responding, or over responding. A lot of doctors want to cut out the entire gland, then put you on drugs for the rest of your life, to compensate for the missing organ. That's like throwing out the baby with the bath water. Also these types of disorders are relatively easy to solve, with natural therapies. It still takes time, but not as long as growths.
3.) Is it a life death situation? Is death inevitable? In other words, is the surgery just going to keep you alive for another two weeks, but your still going to die? Or will it actually remove the problem entirely?
If the surgery is not going to solve your issue, then my suggestion is alternative therapy. Because then you have a fighting chance for cure and death is NOT a certainty.
If the surgery removes the problem entirely and can save your life, you may want to opt for the surgery, because AGAIN, healing takes time, and time is not on your side in this case.
4.) Are you in a mental position or readiness for alternative therapy? Not wanting surgery and being ready and willing to do what it takes to succeed in alternative medicine are NOT the samething. Avoiding one method does not mean readiness for another. If you hold onto beliefs that say that alternative medicine is WOO HOO, and quackery, and taking it seriously is not in your HEART then it is my suggestion not to opt for alternative medicine.
If you are faced with this tough decision in you life, I would be happy to help you work through this. Email me, or call me anytime.
Good luck
