Another tongue and cheek post: Reader discretion is advised.

Pretend that you are a MECHANIC. You've been to Durham College, you graduated with "car" honours, you now own your own shop and someone calls you:

Customer: Hello sir/mam I have a problem with my car, it's a big nasty problem, it seems as if I my clutch is giving out. I feel very concerned about my clutch problem. Do you know how to replace a clutch?

You say: yes of course

Customer: Well how much experience do you have fixing a clutch? Can you give me a long list of successful "clutch stories" and the V.I.N number of each car?  Oh and I think my car also needs four new tires, does that complicate things for you? Can you do both? And how long will it take to fix my clutch?

You say: I can do everything no problem in a few hours.

Customer: A few hours! that long, for a clutch? You suck, I am going somewhere else.

You: But we have to drop the tranny.
Customer: You have trannies on staff !

Sound ludicrous right? The nerve of that mechanic to spend a whole three hours on your car!! Can't they do it in ten minutes, come on now! SNAP, SNAP.

Well I get that from time to time.

For example: Candida
They ask: do you know how to get rid of candida?
It's really bad and I need to know that you know, that I know, that you know, what you are doing.

IT'S FUNGUS for god sakes.


It's not hard to kill fungus, it isn't rocket science! How many candida success stories do I need to show someone to prove that I know how to get rid of friggin candida, are you kidding? That's WHY we go to school. To learn how to heal disease. And it takes as long as it takes, clutch 3 hours, chronic candida about 6 months to a year.

You do not ask a mechanic if they can fix your car, so please do not ask healers if they can help you to solve your health problem.

It's an insult and I thought you should know, because how would you know? Unless we tell you. People are not trying to be insensitive, they just want to know they are making a good decision. That's fair, but you wouldn't ask your accountant if he/she is absolutely sure they know how to file a tax return would you?
