Diabetes: A Natural Alternative to Insulin Injections

Did you know that many prescription drugs are made from herbs, infact it is the "active ingredient" ?
Did you know that the pharmaceutical companies take their miracle drugs from herbs then mark it up to astronomical levels?
Did you know that for every ailment there is a natural cost effective herb that can regulate your condition?
Did you know that many pharmaceutical companies grow their own herbs so that they can make their drugs?

Herbs are cheap, and prescription drugs are NOT.  The first thing many people do is look for a drug that can regulate whatever they have, then they have to rely on a benefit program to pay for the expense. WHY? Because the layman really doesn't know they can regulate their condition naturally without drugs! They are not aware they have this option. It's not peoples fault, they just don't know.

Diabetes is one such condition, in which their is a herb that many claim can replace insulin injections. This herb has been well documented for over 500 years, and has extensive clinical trials with proven results. It is called Prickly Pear Cactus, Tuna, or Nopal Cactus. It is native to places like Mexico, and Arizona. Prickly pear is a fruit that grows on a species of cacti known as Opuntia. They are red, sweet  delicious, and very prickly. I went to Sedona Arizona, and they grow in such abundance that we picked the fruit off of the cacti in which they grow and we ate them. It's a fruit more than a herb, but for simplicity I call it a herb. Nopal cactus has been proven scientifically to lower insulin levels by slowing the uptake of sugar from the gut, as a result it is also a very powerful cholesterol reducer as well. It is able to regulate blood sugar levels with no adverse affects on the liver or detrimental side effects that the drugs may induce.

Nopal has been used as a traditional Mexican remedy for type 2 diabetes for years. Its uses even date back to the time of the Aztecs.
Although it is not considered a panacea for poor dietary practices, it will be a signifcant factor in the recovery for this illness, and that dietary changes are still necessary.

My advice to you is to seek out your local herbalist and inquire, if your local MD does not support it, don't be surprised . Many MD's think natural anything is a load of hogwash, so be mindful. It's not their fault, thats what they have been taught to believe, in their schooling.
