We know that homeopathy heals people, it's a two hundred year system of medicine. But very few people understand HOW it heals or the mechanism behind it.  There are laws in nature that say 'two similar diseases cure each other",  "a similar stronger disease will remove the weaker similar disease".  Hahnemann observed this in nature.

The clearest clinical example is the similarity between cowpox and smallpox. Cowpox innoculations have been shown to prevent or greatly diminish smallpox. The reason for this being is that diseases diiferent in nature but very similar in their manifestations,effects, symptoms and sufferings, destroy each other as soon as they meet in the organism. Cowpox and smallpox are similar in their symptoms, so when they both meet in the organism one destroys the other.

The cowpox innoculation being stronger than the smallpox disease itself would over power it and cure it. You might say that all vaccines are then homeopathic? The answer being NO! If you want to prevent swine flu, you do not give a swine flu vaccine. The symptoms of the swine flu are "the same" as the "swine flu vaccine symptoms". I didn't say "'same cures same" I said "similar cures similar".  "Same cures same" is called isopathy.

Hahnemann observed in his clinical trials that isopathy did have some success but not to the same extent and consistenty that homeopathy produces. Cowpox and smallpox are not the same but they are similar in their symptomology.  Hahnemann had the idea then to cure illness one needs to introduce an ARTIFICIAL: similar disease to combat the real natural disease.  Trick the body into believing that two similar diseases are meeting in the organism. But the artifical similar disease has to be stronger than the disease the patient has.This is why dosing and potency are so important in the homeopathic practice. 

Homeopathic remedies are energetic artifical disease states! There is no crude substance or real medicinal properties left in the remedy, because the crude substance has been through a long dilution process. The homeopath tries to match the symptom picture of the patient with a remedy that shows similar symptomology both physical and emotional. If the remedy is similar, then healing proceeds.

There is also a law that states that  "a stronger dissimilar disease will suppress the weaker one". Allopathic medicine acts as a dissimilar disease to the patient suffering from a natural one, so the medication does not cure it but suppresses it. So when people go off their medication thats why the symptoms of the ailments return unhealed, and often feel worse. For example, one of my fellow co workers was on anti depressants for many years, he went off of them, and all his suppressed emotional pain surfaced again. His pain came back, but worse then he originally had it!  This is why many medical doctors do not recommend going off medications. This is also why many medications are prescribed for life.
