Homeopathy: Why Some Conditions Reappear

Doctor, I have this condition, and it comes and goes. It’s been going on for years, but recently it has come back, and the symptoms are worse then they have ever been, I have been treated before, and it goes away, but this condition is back again, I don’t get it, why is this the case?

 

In the homeopathic language it is called “an acute flareup of a chronic condition”.  The condition is actually a chronic long standing illness, that flares up from time to time.  Chronic meaning that the illness is severe, acute meaning that the illness is mild in nature and resolves itself on it’s own, and never returns.  What is happening is this: the flare up occurs, and the patient’s symptoms are bothering them and they see someone.

They receive a allopathic medication, and the symptoms magically disappear and the patient feels better, and believes that the condition has “gone away”.  Unfortunately the condition comes back worse than ever, because the they have received an allopathic medication (drug) which suppresses the symptoms. Suppression means that the symptoms appear to have gone away, but they actually get pushed from the outside to the inside of the body.  When this happens the disease condition has not healed but is now affecting the vital organs!

The natural flow of cure is when the disease moves from the “inside to the outside” of the body.  In otherwords, what is suppressed must surface.  It surfaces in the form of symptoms.  Symptoms can be physical or emotional in nature. Examples of these symptoms are:

1.) old emotional pain surfacing

2.) symptoms may get suddenly worse

3.) old symptoms from our past return

Traditional medicine acts the opposite way, you take a medication, and all your symptoms magically disappear.   The symptoms come back because the body is trying to fight the illness off by surfacing the illness to the outside of the body for cure. They come back worse, because of all the accumulation of suppression over a period of time. Symptoms are the homeopath’s best friend, and it tells us what the right remedy must be. 

Summary

If you take a medication for your condition, be very concerned if all your symptoms magically disappear.  Remember, cure must travel from the “inside out”.
